Magic beach
Children's author and illustrator Gitte Spee wrote and drew the story of friends Monkey and Mole, who go on a journey of discovery through the museum and experience a special day at the 'magic beach'.
An adventure together
Monkey and Mole are visiting The Hague for the day. They want to go to the beach, but it starts raining. When a big white seagull hears how sad they are, he says, ‘I know a beach where it never rains! Come with me.’ A beach where it’s always sunny? Monkey and Mole would love to see that! That’s how the two friends find their way to the Panorama Mesdag Museum, where they have a very special day out.
